How I Asked My Bridesmaids

Today's post is probably the most fun one I've ever done (and highly requested!)...so I am excited to show you all how I asked my bridesmaids to be in my wedding next year! I knew I wanted to do something cute & fun ever since getting engaged, so I figured this was the best way to tie it all together!

I bought THESE plain white gift bags from Hobby Lobby and had my friend Delaina create custom calligraphy on each bag!  Check out her Delaina J Designs for all of your calligraphy needs... she is amazing! I used plain gold and gold/white polka dot tissue paper to stuff the bags and wrap the gifts.

I absolutely loved these personalized bride/bridesmaid drawings by JesMarried, where I could create the look of each girl in wedding party and frame it instead of giving a card.  I truly believe this approach is way more personal and sentimental than a typical card.  I also found some adorable frames at Homegoods to frame them, so they wouldn't get bent or damaged.

I picked up some mini bottles of Chandon Rose because I loved the pink tops! I found them on sale at Target for only $8 and used these adorable save the date labels on the bottles from Take it Personally by Merill.

To go along with the mini bottles of champagne, I got each one of my girls a customized champagne flute and chose to write their names in gold because thats the color I want to do for my bridesmaid dresses! These champagne flutes can be found at Bubbly + Bash, a super cute one-stop shop for all your party needs!

Voluspa candles are my absolute favorite and they smell amazing, so naturally they were one of the first things I picked out! I bought 3 different scents, Macaron, Saijo Persimmon and Prosecco Bellini and wanted to keep them all to myself (I may have ended up buying myself a few too...)  These are the perfect gift and would make for any birthday or holiday gift as well!

I came across this company, L' Atelier Unique last year and fell in love with all of their monogram straw clutches and bags! You can customize these clutches with your initials or cute phrases and choose the color of your paint and pompoms.  I decided to go with black and white because I wanted something more neutral, and even got a cute white initial clutch with my new initials on it... which will be perfect for the big day. :)

Asking the girls to be in my wedding was so much fun and I know they all loved their gifts!  Planning a wedding can get stressful, but I've decided to let myself just have fun and appreciate every second of it, as I know this next year will fly by.  Since I am not hiring a coordinator, WeddingWire has become my best friend.  There are so many amazing resources on WeddingWire from finding a venue, photographer, caterer, etc to forum boards with other brides answering all of your hard questions.  I also recently started creating my wedding website on there and hope to have it done soon- I can't wait to show you all!

xoxo

*Huge thank you to all of the Etsy shops & WeddingWire for sponsoring this post! As always, all opinions are my own.
