jeans (under $40!) // stripe peplum (sold out) similar here  and here // leopard clutch // pink blazer (zara- sold out) similar here and here // chevron ring // x ring // david yurman bracelet // spike bracelet // leopard flats (only $15!) // bib necklace // earrings // sunglasses // lipstick (all fired up)

I can't believe it's almost March! Where has the time gone?! I am loving the weather we are having right now, sunny and in the 50's... I'll take it! I love being able to wear bright colors again and not feeling like I am going to freeze to death when I go outside. ha ha!

This outfit is one of my favorites because I am in love with these jeans.  Can you believe that they are under $40??  The sizes went pretty quick, but they fit perfectly! I am really loving the distressed jean look, I think half of my jean collection has store boughten holes. :)

This blazer is old from Zara, but I still love the color of it.  I found a couple similar pink blazers here and here, and I really love how it can brighten up a basic outfit! I am also really into leopard print right now, can't you tell?! ha ha.  The leopard clutch and leopard shoes are a fun touch and the shoes are only $15!  They are soo comfortable too!

I hope you have a great Monday! Thanks for stopping by! :) xoxo

Baublebar Semi-Annual Sale

one // two // three // four // five // six // seven // eight // nine

It's that time again... the Baublebar semi-annual sale!  This sale is always amazing because everything is typically always under $50, so if there was something you were eyeing, but didn't want to spend that much $$ on, now is your time to snag it up before it's gone!  I will admit, the items go pretty quickly- especially since some of them are their top sellers.  I am a huge fan of this acid drop earrings and own them in two pairs but I am thinking about stocking up on more because they come in 4 colors!  Every time I wear them I get so many compliments and honestly I think it's because they're so different and fun! I also reallly love this bib necklace... it was originally $68 but it's now on sale for $46.  I own a few of Baublebar's bib necklaces and they are really really great quality and look way more expensive than they actually are!  Also, how cute is this ring?!  When I saw this, I had to get it.  I love rings, I wear at least 3 pretty much every day, and my favorite are big statement ones like this.  The lashes are SO cute, and for $12 you can't go wrong!!

This sale ends at 11:59 EST on February 28th, so don't wait too long to stock up... as they will go back to their normal price on that day!  Also, note it is final sale so no returns will be accepted on any of the sale pieces.

Time to go shopping... hope everyone has a great Thursday! 1 more day until the weekend!! xoxo

Winter Whites in Free People

 photo 20160204-3_zpsebvddhzz.jpg photo 20160204-1_zps8jx2kux2.jpg photo 20160204-4_zpsrqesyutw.jpg photo 20160204-5_zps7uc07wrb.jpg photo 20160204-2_zpsd3r0at0a.jpg

Free People tunic // Paige jeans // Aldo bag (sold out)- similar here // drop earrings less expensive version here // MAC lipstick (pink pigeon) // Steve Madden over the knee boots

I just got back from an amazing long weekend down South and I am so not ready to be back to reality. The weather was absolutely amazing and it was so nice to catch up with family I hadn't seen in a while! :)

I got this Free People tunic a few months ago, and I've been in love with it ever since.  It comes in 4 different colors and is such good quality.  I am a big believer in wearing white all year round, and I think this top fits that perfectly.  It's still wintery enough to wear this time of year, but can also be worn in the warmer months since it's super light weight.  If you aren't one to wear white this time a year, it comes in blush pink, green and black- all just as amazing!

This bag from Aldo is also one of my favorites, but unfortunately it's sold out now. :(  It looks super similar to the Chloe bags that are super popular right now, but I got it for 1/4 the price!  I found this dupe one from Last Call by Neiman Marcus, and it's only $45! I love the embossed snake print because it really goes with anything and gives off an 'expensive' feel.

Time to go unpack and clean my life away... ha ha.  Thanks for stopping by!

Splurge vs. Save

I decided to do a post on some items I've been majorly crushing on lately, but definitely could not afford, so I found very similar items (and everything is under $150!)  My absolute favorite Valentino's that you see on pretty much every blogger these days, can cost anywhere around from $900- $1700.  As I would love to own a real pair myself, that's just currently not in the budget right now. ha ha!  I found these amazing look-a likes from Charlotte Russe, and for only $20 (they're on additional sale right now!) they are the perfect look a likes to the designer brand.  Every time I wear them, I get so many compliments and people asking me if they are Valentino... seriously this is how much they look like the real thing!  I also have fell in love with this Chloe bag.  The style of it is just so elegant, but again way to expensive for me personally to spend on one bag.  That's where Amazon comes into play... they have this amazing bag, can you really see that big of a difference? The Dior sunglasses dupe can also be found on Amazon for only $20, and since they are a trendier pair of sunglasses, that's all I really want to spend since the style will probably be out already by next year.  One piece that I do own on the splurge side is this J.Crew bracelet.  I love this bracelet because it goes with everything and just looks so dang pretty!  It was on the pricier side, but not to bad ($125). I found this awesome look alike from Stella and Dot for only $49.  It's a little skinnier than the J.Crew one, but for 1/3 the price, it's definitely worth it.  I have a few pieces from Stella and Dot and everything I have is great quality.  Lastly, is this amazing Chanel bag.  What girl doesn't dream of owning a Chanel bag? sigh... some day... this Jessica Buurman bag will have to fill in for now.  For $89 you can have a bag that pretty much looks exactly like Chanel, but for thousands of dollars cheaper!  This is where I decide I need to have it in every color... ha ha.

I hope you enjoyed this post... I will probably continue to do more as I continue to find great deals!! :) xoxo

Cozy Casual in H&M!

 photo 20160204-16_zpshdyjbpix.jpg photo 20160204-13_zpsqazufskg.jpg photo 20160204-15_zpsoyj5psn7.jpg photo 20160204-17_zpsxox53htq.jpg photo 20160204-19_zpsznyd2bef.jpg photo 20160204-18_zps8kmgakz4.jpg photo 20160204-22_zpsol1wmg2r.jpg

H&M cardigan // Paige jeans // H&M wool hat // Rebecca Minkoff mini mac // white tee // Steve Madden over the knee boots // Kendra Scott ring // Michael Kors ring // spike bracelet // Kendra Scott earrings // Mac lipstick in "pink pigeon" // AIBI watch (use code "CARAFRIES" for $20 off!)

When I first saw this cardigan from H&M, I knew I had to have it in my Spring wardrobe.  The colors are amazing and actually look even better in person!   It was actually freezing the day I shot, but it's super cozy so it made standing out in the cold a little bit better.  The sides are slit, so it gives it more of a fitted look, rather than a big boxy/baggy look and the trim is a faux leather!  I paired it with these black over the knee boots by Steve Madden.  I love these boots because they are so comfortable and I can literally wear them all day and my feet never hurt!  They also stay up on your knee, which I know a lot of the over the knee boots tend to slouch down.

I hope everyone had an awesome Valentine's day weekend! I stayed in pretty much all day and then had an amazing dinner at Ditka's (my boyfriend is a huge Chicago Bears fan and he's the old coach...).  I am headed back to down south to Florida on Wednesday and I can not wait... we are finally getting our winter here and it is SO cold.  We are talking single digits and snow!  But I did see in the forecast that this weekend is supposed to be in the high 50's?  Chicago just can't make up it's mind! ha ha.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great week!! xoxo

Valentine's Day Outfit...

TGIF! I can't believe I made it through this week, but here I am!  Valentine's day is two days away, and for all you procrastinators- this outfit is perfect!  I found this Vince Camuto top at Bloomingdales last week and immediately fell in love with the color and the fun bell sleeves.  I also scored it for 40% off the sale price, so it definitely didn't break the bank!  I also really love this Ann Taylor blouse. These Joe's jeans are my favorite pair of white denim that I own, and are super comfortable and very stretchy, but don't stretch out and become baggy like a lot of jeans do.  I'm all about wearing white denim in Winter, and definitely don't think that you have to stop wearing it after Labor day (I am convinced this is a myth, ha!)

For Valentine's day this year, my boyfriend and I are just going to grab dinner and relax.  To me, Valentine's day is over-rated and I'm not all about doing gifts, however what girl doesn't love some fresh flowers?! :)

What are you guys up to this weekend to celebrate? xoxo

I hope everyone is having a great week so far!  This outfit is one of my favorites.  I got this cardigan from Necessary Clothing last year in NYC and it's so comfy.  It's sold out now, but I linked another similar one thats just as cute!  I am also obsessed with these Guess booties... they look almost identical to the Valentino ones, but for 1/8 the price.  I literally wear these at least 4x a week, because they go with so much and are so comfortable.  They are also on SALE!  Another thing that goes well with a lot is this leopard clutch.  It's been so popular this year that it keeps selling out, but luckily it keeps getting restocked.  I was kind of hesitant to get it at first because I didn't think it would hold that much,  but it expands and can actually fit a lot!

I had so much fun shooting for this outfit because it was 45 degrees and sunny in Chicago at the time, so it really felt like spring! I can't wait to be able to wear outfits like this all the time... the groundhog didn't see his shadow, so spring should be shortly on it's way! :)

Thanks for stopping by!! xoxo

Life's a Beach...

one // two // three // four // five // six // seven // eight // nine // ten // eleven

Happy Tuesday!! I have literally been dreaming about spring and summer ever since it started getting cold here in Chicago. Ha ha!  I just got back from a short vacation in Miami and it really made me miss the sun and being able to throw on a bikini or a sundress, instead of a big bulky coat.  I've lately been on the kick of buying only things warm weather (even though I can't wear them yet) because it makes me so happy to see all of the fun spring stuff out already!  I am heading back to Florida in a couple weeks for another vacation, so I started to round up my favorite beach attire, as I am most likely going to spend my entire trip there. :)

This swimsuit from Target is to die for!  It comes in black and pink and is super affordable. I love the scallop detail and the back is very low cut, which shows some skin since the front is a very high cut.  This swimsuit, also from Target is also great for those who want to cover up a bit, but still have a sexy feel.  I also think that it's super flattering for any body type!

I have been eyeing this coverup from ShopBop for such a long time now! It would be absolutely perfect for a beach vacation and comes in TEN colors!  I seriously love every single one, I would have a hard time picking just one.  Also, how fun is this flamingo float?!  These were super popular last summer, and still are being sold everywhere.  I ordered one of these to float around in the pool (and maybe even bring to the beach!)  The floats are so fun and come in everything from flamingos to pizza to ice cream sandwiches.  I wish I could fill up the pool with one of each ha ha!

What beach essential is on your list this year?  I'd love to hear your pick!

Thanks for stopping by!! xoxo

Happy hump day!! So happy that it's Wednesday and only two days away from hopping on a plane to Miami!  I can't wait to get out of the cold and get a little sunshine (even if it's only for a weekend!)  My boyfriend and I are going down for a wedding and I can't wait to show you all the dress I got from Rent the Runway

In other news, the other day I had my first real "official" photoshoot for the blog! It was so much fun and I can't wait to do it again soon.  If you're in the Chicago area, you have to check out Olga from a little too much blog.  She was such a sweetheart and so much fun to work with, not to mention a "pro" behind the camera!!

I was gifted these adorable boot clips by PoppyClips and I have to say- they are amazing!  If you've never heard of them before, they make "clips" that attach to your boots and also carry ones for your clothes. I've also seen people use them on purses, bags and scarfs! I received these but I also love these and these.  This super affordable accessory (only $24!) attaches by a magnet that goes on the inside and outside of the boots to add a little extra pop to any brand of rain boots.  I was a little hesitant that because the boots are so thick, they might not stay put... but they definitely did the whole day walking through the city!  (Tip: If you subscribe to their email list, you will get a 10% off code for your first purchase.)  I highly suggest you all get a pair, I'm already deciding what one to get next! :)

Thanks for stopping by! xoxo

It's been a while since i've rounded up my instagram posts on here!  This winter has been SO mild, it's crazy how little we've gotten really "cold" days, but i'm not complaining. :)  This weekend I celebrated my friends birthday, so I am in need of sleep and will make this short... but I did want to share with you that I did my first real outfit shoot on Saturday and I am so excited to share it with you all!  Keep a look out for those posts coming soon... :)

Hope everyone had a great weekend and Happy Monday!! xoxo
